UI/UX Designer

Location
Munich or hybrid (two days on site)
Employment
Full-time or 32 hours, permanent

The role

You design interfaces that convert and that developers can actually build. Your work runs from the first stakeholder workshop through wireframes and prototypes to a documented design system. We expect you to defend your decisions with data, not with taste.

What you will do

  • Run discovery workshops and turn business goals into information architecture
  • Design wireframes, high-fidelity screens and interactive prototypes in Figma
  • Build and maintain design systems with tokens, variants and usage rules
  • Plan and evaluate usability tests with five to eight participants per round
  • Prepare developer handover including states, breakpoints and edge cases
  • Present concepts to client management and incorporate structured feedback

What we expect

  • At least three years of digital product or agency design experience
  • A portfolio with at least two projects you can explain end to end
  • Advanced Figma skills: auto layout, variables, components, prototyping
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS so your handover is realistic
  • Familiarity with WCAG 2.1 AA and how it affects colour, focus and typography
  • German at C1 level; English at B2 level for international clients

What we offer

  • Gross annual salary of 52,000 to 68,000 EUR depending on experience
  • Hybrid setup with two office days in Munich and a Deutschlandticket
  • One day per month for portfolio, craft and personal design projects
  • 1,200 EUR yearly budget for training, plus a Figma and font licence
  • Real design authority: no committee redesigns after final approval
  • 30 days of holiday and flexible core hours between 10:00 and 15:00
