About the project

Crunch Cars brokers premium used cars from vetted German dealers. Their inventory changes daily and the previous site handled that with a filter panel of nineteen fields — the kind of interface that assumes the buyer already knows exactly what they want. Most did not. We replaced the panel with a "Traumauto finden" flow: budget, body style, how the car will be used, and three questions about what matters most. Behind it, listings are enriched automatically from dealer feeds, and a valuation model flags cars priced above the market so the sales team can renegotiate before the listing goes live.

What we did

  • Design

Near-black interface so the cars carry all the colour. Listing cards show the three numbers buyers compare first — price, mileage, first registration — and nothing else until you open the detail view.

  • Development

Dealer feeds are ingested every fifteen minutes and normalised into one schema; a sold car disappears from search within one cycle. Search itself runs on a dedicated index so the guided flow answers in well under a second even with 4,000 active listings.

  • AI Automation

Listings are enriched automatically: equipment lists are parsed from dealer PDFs, photos are ordered so the exterior three-quarter shot always comes first, and a pricing model compares each car against completed sales in the same segment.

  • Accompaniment

We monitor feed health daily — a dealer changing their export format used to mean a silent gap in the inventory. Now it raises an alert before customers notice.

Results in numbers

  • 4.000+

    listings kept in sync

  • +58%

    enquiries per listing

  • 15 min

  • -72%

What they say about us

5.0
Nineteen filters felt professional to us. They showed us the session recordings and it was obvious nobody used more than three. The guided search took a while to get right, and it now produces better enquiries than the old search ever did.
